HWY 101 CONSTRUCTION

First Friday Santa Rosa- the downtown Art Walk!
First Friday is the first annual downtown art walk! The First Friday evening of each month, between June and November 2006, from 5:00-8:00pm, downtown will be the stage for the pairing of dozens of local artists with dozens of local downtown Santa Rosa businesses. Artist’s work will be displayed inside or on the adjacent sidewalk of participating businesses.While attendees stroll, they’ll enjoy relaxing sounds from roving jazz and guitar musicians.

Our first event on June 2nd was a huge success! Businesses and attendees were elated at the artwork, footraffic and overall festive atmoshphere. The event is free to the public, paid in part by funds contributed by downtown businesses and community partners. The artwalk takes place in downtown Santa Rosa in the Courthouse Square district and is brought to you by The Cultural Arts Council, the City of Santa Rosa and Santa Rosa Main Street.
