Dr. Tolin is the senior partner at Santa Rosa Oral Surgery.
A native of Richmond, CA, Dr. Tolin moved to Santa Rosa in 1974 and opened a solo practice. In 1979, he combined his practice with that of Doctors Gerald Corsi, Mike Hoey, James Pearson, and Jon Scarr to form Santa Rosa Oral Surgery.
Dr. Tolin has a long history of service to the local and professional community. He has served in nearly every official role in the Redwood Empire Dental Society (REDS), including that of President. For seven years, he was a Trustee of the California Dental Society. Dr. Tolin is head of credential committee at Sutter Hospital, Santa Rosa, and a long-time active member of the Santa Rosa Downtown Rotary. His clinical area of interest is oral pathology.
Dr.Tyko joined Santa Rosa Oral Surgery in 2000 when he returned to his home state from Texas.
In addition to his practice in our office, Dr. Tyko is an active participant in our medical and dental communities, regularly lecturing at Santa Rosa Junior College, hosting numerous seminars for local dentists, and serving on Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital’s trauma team.
He is Chief of Dentistry at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, a director on the Board of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and previously serving as Editor of the state association's newsletter, member of several association committees, and President of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Health Foundation. His clinical area of interest is bone grafting.
Having moved from his home country of Canada to Texas, Dr. Chu then joined Santa Rosa Oral Surgery in 2001. He left his position of Assistant Professor of Surgery of the University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine. There he taught many of the oral, implant, and facial reconstructive procedures that he now practices with our patients.
He is a member of Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital's trauma team, regular lecturer at local and state venues, and is a member or fellow of multiple oral surgical and medical professional societies, at the local, state, national, and international levels.
In addition to treating those less fortunate in our community, he volunteers his skills treating abused children in Mexico.
A native Texan, Dr. Daniel is the most recent physician to join Santa Rosa Oral Surgery in 2008.
The majority of his practice is in our Rohnert Park office; however, he is also available in our Santa Rosa office and is on staff at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
In addition to his active oral and maxillofacial surgical practice, Dr. Daniel is a teacher of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), lecturer, and designer of devices for use in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
