Dr. Chu is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose keen interest in cosmetic surgery is motivated by using aesthetic innovations to improve the human form, and he truly enjoys helping people feel better…about themselves.

Cosmetic Surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical training. Doctor Chu manages a wide variety of problems relating to the head and neck. He practices a full scope of facial cosmetic surgery with expertise in facial reconstructive & cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Chu trained with some of the world leaders in plastic surgery, including the now retired chairman of plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Mayo Clinic. Prior to entering private practice, as an Asst. Professor of Surgery at the University of Texas – Houston, Dr. Chu taught many of the facial reconstructive & cosmetic procedures he now employs as the only oral and maxillofacial surgeon on the trauma team at the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Trauma Center, in service to the North Coast communities from the Golden Gate to Oregon. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and multiple professional societies.
